Phone app

The phone app is a full Device on your account: the same keys, the same chats, the same end-to-end encryption. Bots keep running on your computers; the phone talks to them through the relay.

Pair your phone

In the desktop app, choose Pair a Device…, then scan the QR code with the phone app. You can also paste a pairing string from the desktop app or from lorca pair on any computer that already has your identity, or open it as a lorca://pair link. Pairing needs a relay your phone can reach.

What you can do

• Chat with any bot or group. Replies grow on the phone as the bot writes them.
• Attach photos, camera shots, and files.
• Dictate messages. Long-press the microphone to change the language.
• Create bots for any of your Runners, start group chats, and change a bot's name, description, provider, model, or thinking level from its Details.
• Answer permission cards and sign-in cards for plugins.
• Manage routines: pause, resume, run now, or delete from the chat's details.
• Install plugins on a Runner, and edit Auto-review rules.
• Connect providers with an API key or subscription sign-in. The credential reaches every paired Device encrypted.
• Pair and unpair devices.

Send another message while a bot works to steer it. Its current model step and tools finish first, then the new instruction joins the same turn. The separate immediate Stop control and bot memory editor are in the desktop app.

Notifications

When a bot finishes a reply, your phone gets a push with the bot's name and the start of what it said. The content is encrypted on the Runner and opened on your phone. Apple, Google, and the relay see only "New reply".

Tap a notification to open the chat. You get no banner for the chat you have open, and opening a chat clears its notifications.
